      在很多戶外環(huán)境中，材料每天的潮濕時間可長達(dá)12小時。研究表明造成這種戶外潮濕的主要因素是露水，而不是雨水。Q8通過*的冷凝功能來模擬戶外的潮濕侵蝕。在冷凝循環(huán)中，通過加熱試驗(yàn)機(jī)底部水盤來產(chǎn)生水蒸汽。熱的水蒸汽使試驗(yàn)箱在較高溫度下保持99%相對濕度。在Q8的設(shè)計(jì)中，試樣實(shí)際上構(gòu)成試驗(yàn)箱的側(cè)壁，試樣的背面暴露在實(shí)驗(yàn)室室內(nèi)空氣中。室內(nèi)空氣的冷卻作用導(dǎo)致試樣表面溫度比水蒸汽溫度低幾度，從而保證水蒸汽會連續(xù)不斷地在樣品表面凝結(jié)。這種冷凝水是很穩(wěn)定的純凈蒸餾水。
